Forest School - What Our Parents & Children Say

The Cherry Tree ‘welly walks’ are just brilliant - the children get out into the village and observe all sorts of interesting things in nature, materials used to make things and the function of local buildings, as well as practising road safety skills. It’s also a lovely way for parents to take part in a school activity and see their little ones interact with their friends.

Forest School has been the best addition to the school calendar! Our boys love spending time learning outside, getting their hands dirty exploring the world around them. They cover a number of different subjects, such as Maths and English, in an outdoor, hands-on environment. More goes in that way I’m sure! :-)
