Personal, Social and Health Education at St Mary's Primary School

PSHE covers a range of topics which range from enabling young people to understand and communicate effectively to keeping themselves safe in a variety of situations.  It also helps them to find out about the communities they are part of and to make a postive contribution therein.  At St Mary's we consider it to be just a vital part of the curriculum.

Relationships and Sex Education

Relationships and Sex Education forms an important part of our PSHE curriculum because it empowers young people to communicate effectively and helps to keep them safe.  Relationships Education is a statutory part of the primary curriculum.

Please read our draft policy for Relationships and Sex Education and the DFE Guide for Parents (see left).   To participate in the parent consultation please use the ping survey which closes on April 1st 2021.  If you would like to speak to us following that please contact the school office.
