Friends of St Mary's
The Friends of St Mary's are here to support the school through a wide range of enjoyable events. All our fundraising efforts this year are going towards the Creating Space project. The aim of this project is to provide much needed additional classroom space for our popular, ever growing school.
Our next meeting is on Wednesday 3 March 2010 at 8pm in the Old Star pub, Clifford - all welcome.

Saturday 22 May – Sponsored Swim
To be held at Tadcaster Pool - an event for adults and children. If anybody would like to take part in a different sponsored sporting activity (e.g. the Edinburgh Marathon) on the same weekend to raise money for the school we would love to hear from you (please speak any of the FOSM committee members in the playground).

December 2009 - Christmas Quiz
Always a rioutous evening. Quiz maestros James and Mike were be back to orchestrate proceedings, resulting in an evening of cross dressing and blatant cheating. An excellent night had by all and £870 raised.
December 2009 - Auction of promises
There were plenty of lots and plenty of bidding in our auction of promises which succeeded in raising over £1600.
October 2009 - 80's Night
After the popularity of the Abba tribute evening earlier in the year, here was another excuse for fancy dress. This time it was an 80's Icons disco night in Boston Spa Village Hall with disco provided by DJ Lokstar. This was a very successful evening and raised over £900.
