School Dinner System

School Dinners

Our school dinners run on a three weekly menu rotation.  Menus can be viewed on the school notice board and below.   School meals are freshly prepared on site, using locally grown ingredients where possible.  Pupils eat together in two sittings from 11.55 a.m.  and sit in friendship groups, with older pupils helping the younger ones where required.    Our school also provides for children with special dietary requirements.

Each daily menu includes a vegetarian option.    Hot vegetables are available every day and salad is served most days.  Traditional desserts are served, including a choice of fresh fruit and yoghurt.  All dinners are freshly cooked each day on our school premises.

If you wish to change dinner arrangements please give 3 weeks written notice to the school office (this does not include school holidays).

Packed Lunches

We strongly promote healthy lunches and pupils bringing packed lunches should bring their lunch in a snack box or bag, clearly labelled with name and class.  NO fizzy drinks/glass bottles or fruit drinks are allowed.   Water is provided by the kitchen staff.  Pupils bringing packed lunches must provide their own cutlery.

 Specific Dietary Needs

If your child has any specific dietary needs, please arrange an appointment with the Kitchen Team Leader, via the school office.
